European Markets:  

EU markets closed mixed ahead of the long weekend holiday as investors worry over geopolitical issues and a weaker dollar. Most major sectors closed flat. The EUSXX600 closed the day up 0.19%. The Autos sectors led the markets higher in the early session then pared gains after a better than expected Daimler pre earnings report. There is no important news on the agenda Thursday morning.

FX markets reacted to the US President Trump statement sending the dollar sharply lower and metals higher late Wednesday. OIL lost 1% following the Inventories report which showed a rise in US inventories. There is no important news on the agenda Thursday morning.
