European Markets:
EU markets closed mixed after another lackluster session. Most major sectors closed in positive territory led by Basic Resources and Banking stocks. The EUSXX600 closed the day up 0.24%. On the earnings front Rio Tinto was up 1% following a better than expected report while Burberry disappointed investors and took a 8% dive on the news. There is no important news on the agenda Thursday morning.

FX markets went thru an inside day after the aggressive move in the sterling yesterday. OIL was the only mover dropping 4% to the 50$ level after the Inventories number showed a lower than expected decline in inventories and over oversupply worries.
