European Markets:  

EU markets traded sideways to new highs for the second day in a row ahead of the ECB press conference today. The EUSXX600 closed the day up 0.47%, with most major sectors closing the day in positive territory. Retail and Autos stocks were the leading sectors after better than expected results from Kering.fr, up 9.2% and Fiat up 9%. The ECB press conference and minimum bid rate at noon GMT are the important news on the agenda Thursday. 

Earnings on the agenda Thursday morning:  Persimmon.uk, Agrekko.uk, TPK.uk, Kuka.de, Orange.fr, Renault.fr.

FX markets traded mostly sideways after the rally in the Euro yesterday and ahead of the ECB press conference today. There is little chance of a change in the ECB policies following the French election however EU markets are geared up for the news today. The ECB press conference and minimum bid rate at noon GMT are the important news on the agenda Thursday.
