European Markets:  

EU markets closed sharply higher to open the trading week, Basic Resources sector stocks outperformed the general market for the second day in a row, up 2.4% on better than expected Chinese data. The EUSXX600 index closed higher 0.75%. German drug maker Stada was up 14% on a takeover offer and all major sectors closed the trading day in the green. UK CPI in the morning and Chairman Yellen speech at 3:00 pm in the afternoon are the important news on the agenda Tuesday.
