European Markets:  

EU markets closed higher following the path of the US markets to fresh year highs. The banking sector was the best performer in the markets with Credit Agricole.fr leading the way up 4.7% after a better than expect earnings report. The EUSXX600 index closed higher 0.34%. All major sectors closed in the trading day in the green. There is no important news on the agenda Thursday morning.
