The dollar stampede continued Thursday as the greenback surged to 14 year highs vs the global currencies basket and sent metals deep into red territory for the year. Platinum and Silver lost more than 4% on the day as investors ran out of safe heavens expecting more upside from the equity markets and the dollar.
