EU markets traded higher led by banking stocks following the FOMC decision, expecting that the move in the US will be a positive for the EU banks. All major sectors other than miners closed in the green, banks where 2.4% gainers on the day. There is no important news on the agenda Friday morning.

  The dollar stampede continued Thursday as the greenback surged to 14 year highs vs the global currencies basket and sent metals deep into red territory for the year. Platinum and Silver lost more than 4% on the day as investors ran out of safe heavens expecting more upside from the equity markets and the dollar.
