European markets 

EU markets traded sideways and higher as the markets are closing on the holiday season. Investors saw very little action on the day as volumes decline heading into the holiday weekend. OIL stocks were the best performing sector up 1.2% and banks stocks reversed to the upside after a red day yesterday. OIL Inventories is the only important news on the agenda Wednesday.
