European Markets    

EU markets traded higher with all major bourses and sectors in the green, led by Technology stocks, Retail and Telecoms. The EUSXX600 closed higher 0.77%. Disappointing truck sales by Volvo sent the car manufactured lower 3% while better than expected Electrolux sales drove the stock higher 3%. UK Retail sales at 9:30 am then the ECB Press Conference at 1:30 pm is the important news on the agenda Thursday.

The dollar index was flat hovering at 8 month lows heading into the ECB press conference today in the afternoon. OIL was the mover Wednesday, after a drop in US stock piles and increased OPEC pressure to cut global outputs in a bid to tighten the market. UK Retail sales at 9:30 am then the ECB Press Conference at 1:30 pm is the important news on the agenda Thursday.
