European Markets    

While EU markets traded mixed, the DAX index hit all time highs of 12900 during the early session while most other bourses traded lower and there was no leadership in the major sectors. The EXSXX600 index closed lower 0.12%. CHF Libor rate decision and the BOE official bank rate are the important news on the agenda Thursday morning.

The dollar index gained 0.4% after the FOMC meeting released its outlook for the US and global economy and its decision to reduce its bond portfolio. OIL was the big loser on the day, plummeting 4% on higher than expected US stock piles, now prices are at six week lows. CHF Libor rate decision and the BOE official bank rate are the important news on the agenda Thursday morning.
