European Markets    

EU markets traded higher as all major sectors other than retail traded in positive territory, closing the trading week with minor gains for the week. Retail stocks moved lower following the news than Amazon is buying WFM, sending all supermarkets chain stocks sharply lower. The EXSXX600 index closed higher 0.66%. There is no important news on the agenda Monday.

The dollar index gained 0.01% as most markets traded sideways with no major news on the agenda. OIL and metals and the YEN were this week biggest losers on a stronger dollar and a change in investor appetite that left the safe heaven markets of the YEN and Gold, at least short term.
