European Markets:  

EU major markets closed mixed Friday ending the trading week which turned out to be the best this year for banking stocks, rising 4% on the week. Most other major sectors traded in very narrow ranges and closed the day flat. WPP.uk was down 8% Friday after posting disappointing earnings results and lowering 2017 outlook. The EUSXX600 index closed lower 0.1%. There is no important news on the agenda Monday morning.

Forex & Commodities markets

The FX markets traded mixed to close the trading week and Fed Chairman speech Friday in the afternoon did nothing to move the markets either way. OIL reversed half of yesterday losses closing up 1% yet finished the week 1% in the red. There is no important news on the agenda Monday morning. RBA rate statement, ECB press conference and NFP are amongst the important news on the agenda coming up this week.
